Sidy Diop is a chartered tax Expert registered before the national Chartered Tax Expert Association (ONES), temporary member of the West African Union of Tax Institutes (WAUTI). He holds a Master in Business Law with Tax and Import-Export as option and a Postgraduate degree in business law, banking option.

He has 30 years of professional experience including 26 years of practice in tax and legal firms. Over the past 30 years, he has developed a strong background in research, audit, consulting and assistance in legal and tax fields.

He has a deep knowledge and is highly experienced in legal and tax fields: environment and mechanisms mainly in banking, insurance and finance sectors for being tax consultant for banks and financial institutions (CITIGROUP, Société Générale Sénégal, BNP Sénégal (BICIS) Banque Régionale de Marchés, Banque Atlantique, Banque Islamique, Banque Sahelo Saharienne pour l’Industrie et le Commerce, Baobab (former Microcred), Alliance pour le Crédit et l’Epargne (ACEP), Pamecas, Crédit Mutuel du Sénégal, St Louis finances etc ....), Insurance sector (AXA, SAHAM (former COLINA), AMSA, UASEN VIE) and Oil,  Gaz, mining, and Energy sectors (SHELL, TOTAL, Société Africaine de Raffinage, SENELEC, GTI, FORTESA, OROMIN, Companies operating or intervening in the Senegalese and Mauritanian Gaz Project of Grand Tortue Ahmeyim/GTA)

He has also carried out Tax studies in the WAEMU zone for GIM-UEMOA (former Interbank Electronic Payment Processing Center), ECOWAS and the Central Bank of WAEMU countries (BCEAO).

He carried out studies for the World bank (Senegalese office) in Senegal and Gabon.

Sidy is a tax consultant at ECOWAS for French and Portuguese speaking countries.
