Dieter Becker, graduate economist, has been a Spokesman of the Board/Managing Partner since July 1, 2020. In addition to his many years of experience as an automotive expert and with the competence to translate industry topics and business model changes into technical concepts for the customer, Dieter Becker has been involved for many years with the design of the CFO function of the future. Based on his deep industry knowledge, he has often dealt with the transfer of the management model into processes, competencies and systems, very often in combination with business intelligence solutions and platform-based data analytics applications.
Dieter Becker has more than 27 years of consulting experience, from 2002 to 2020 at KPMG. In addition to his function as Global Platinum Lead Partner, he was Global Head of Automotive from 2006 to 2020 and author of numerous studies such as the annually published Global Automotive Executive Survey. From 1993 to 2002, with a one-year break as interim CFO in the context of a restructuring, he was with Arthur Andersen, where he coordinated the development of the value-based management practice. After working in Stuttgart, London and Zurich, Dieter Becker has been living in Munich since 2012.
Nina Blume is a certified public accountant and tax advisor and has been working for WTS in the Financial Reporting division of WTS Advisory since 2022. Before joining WTS, she worked for many years at EY in auditing and audit-related consulting. Most recently, as a partner at the Hanover office, she was responsible for audit-related consulting in the Hanover/Lower Saxony/Bremen region. Here, Nina Blume advised national and international medium-sized groups as well as listed companies in various industries with a focus on energy companies, tourism, manufacturing and public investments. Her professional consulting focus is on the set-up, optimization and automation of annual financial statement and reporting processes, the introduction of financial and non-financial reporting processes, accounting and reporting issues according to HGB and IFRS as well as IFRS conversions and the introduction of new IFRS standards.

Dr. Rainer Doll has been partner at the WTS Group since 2013 and partner at WTS Advisory, a WTS Group company, since July 2017. In the Financial Advisory area, he is responsible for the Restructuring service line. His main areas of expertise include the creation of restructuring and reorganization concepts, the support of transaction and transformation processes as well as the interim assumption of management functions as CEO, CFO and CRO. Over the past 18 years, Dr. Doll has supported many large and medium-sized companies in the areas of turnaround management, (re-)financing as well as in the planning and implementation of corporate transactions and succession arrangements. Before joining WTS and WTS Advisory, Dr. Doll worked for the consulting companies Dr. Wieselhuber & Partner and goetzpartners for many years. He studied business administration at the LMU Munich and received his doctorate there.
Michèle Färber joined WTS Advisory in September 2022, heads the Financial Services division and is responsible for the expansion of the Corporate Treasury business. Her consulting focus is on supporting her banking and insurance clients on often large transformation projects in the CFO area, including the introduction of sustainability reporting, new IFRS standards or other regulatory requirements. Furthermore, the auditor, CFA Charterholder and GRI Certified Sustainability Professional supports her clients in process reorganization and optimization and adaptation of their management concepts.
She has more than 18 years of auditing and consulting experience. From 2016 to 2022, she led the Insurance Accounting advisory business at PwC and supported numerous insurance companies in the implementation of IFRS 9 and IFRS 17. Prior to that, she worked at EY since 2004, first in the bank audit and later in the Financial Services Principle Practice, then for many years responsible for corporate treasury advisory for mostly large industrial clients in the Southern German region.
She is co-author of articles in the WP Handbook and in professional journals and lectures at various universities.
Nikolaus Färber is as Member of the Board/Partner responsible for transactional process consulting and optimization in the Financial Advisory area. His consulting focus in this regard is in particular carve-out process advisory, post merger integration and international M&A projects. In addition to these topics, Nikolaus Färber advises on national and international accounting issues as well as on issues relating to the internal control system. His long-standing clients include globally active industrial companies, numerous publicly listed companies, family-run groups of companies as well as private equity funds. Before Nikolaus Färber joined WTS, he worked until 2010 as an auditor for Ernst & Young in the area of international assurance.
Dr. Heiko Frank, Dipl.-Kfm. joined WTS Advisory as a partner on October 1, 2021. In the future, he will be responsible for Mergers & Acquisitions and Board Advisory Services. His focus is on a holistic advisory service along the entire transaction process - from M&A strategies and financing to due diligence and the coordination of contract negotiations and closing.
In his more than 30 years of professional experience, Dr. Frank has always worked in the field of "National & International Professional Services" as Managing Director, Board Member and Senior Partner. In addition to leadership and management roles in consulting & corporate finance companies, he has primarily acted in an advisory capacity for mid-cap companies and corporate groups. Dr. Heiko Frank is a member of the supervisory board of several medium-sized (listed) companies and has been a judge at the Regional Court of Augsburg since 2000.
After receiving his degree in business administration, Dr. Christian Herold began his professional career at KPMG AG in Frankfurt am Main. Parallel to this, he obtained a PhD at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University. As auditor and senior manager, Christian Herold primarily advised and audited DAX companies. The focal points of his consulting work are the implementation of new accounting standards such as IFRS 15 and 16, the optimization of financial reporting, and complex accounting-relevant issues.

Thomas Kupke is a partner at the Munich office of WTS Advisory in the Transaction Advisory division and Managing Director of WTS Advisory GmbH. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in corporate finance and M&A consulting, in investment management as well as in auditing and tax consulting. In doing so, he has supported international groups, medium-sized companies, family offices and investment companies in international projects. He advises key players in the preparation, implementation and safeguarding of corporate decisions as well as holistically in corporate transactions (including M&A consulting, due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, fairness opinions, PMI). Thomas Kupke also has expertise in valuations of companies and intangible assets for (corporate) legal, contractual and tax purposes as well as in the context of accounting (PPA, impairment test). Thomas Kupke studied business administration at the University of Regensburg and is a certified public accountant and tax consultant. Before joining WTS Advisory, he worked for a family office, for KPMG in deal advisory and for O&R.
Moritz Pawelke, Diplom Kaufmann, has been a partner of WTS Advisory since December 2020 and is responsible for the development and expansion of WTS Advisory Digital Architects in Berlin. In this context, he supports DAX-30 clients and SMEs as well as a large number of young companies from the German startup ecosystem in digital transformation and agile organizational development along the entire data value chain. His special focus within the projects is always the intelligent use of modern cloud-based ETL/ELT, data science, data hub technologies and business intelligence applications to make CFO & finance consulting even more flexible, innovative, scalable and data-driven.
Moritz Pawelke has more than 10 years of consulting experience in the context of traditional finance, controlling, accounting, business valuation and transaction consulting with previous professional positions at KPMG as well as Deloitte. In addition to his professional focus, he has been active as an internationally recognized expert & key opinion lead for the use of modern software solutions & cloud solutions for data value creation since 2012. Most recently, he was therefore responsible for the development and expansion of a Berlin-based boutique consultancy with a focus on cloud-based NextGen Business Intelligence.
Norbert Simmerling, economist, has been working for WTS Advisory at the Munich/Rosenheim offices in the area of Finance Transformation, Concepts & Systems since 2014. He studied at the University of Regensburg and spent several semesters in Canada. Before joining WTS, he worked for many years in the industrial environment. In addition to various commercial management positions, he was also responsible for various IT functions.
Norbert Simmerling advises international companies for WTS Advisory. His focus is on the creation of business concepts in combination with profound IT know-how in the area of changes in accounting. In doing so, companies are supported in SAP transformations - from the preparatory measures to the optimization of system-based processes to a successful launch of the new system. Special attention is paid to the standardization of financial processes, taking into account the respective business model. He can draw on more than 30 years of SAP experience in various industries.
Ulrich Sommer has been a partner of WTS Advisory since autumn of 2007, and in his capacity as COO (Chief Operating Officer) has overseen operational coordination and execution of projects in cooperation with department managers. He is also responsible for IFRS/US GAAP conversion projects and projects for optimization of financing and accounting. He studied business administration at the University of Regensburg and at Trinity College Dublin. Before starting at WTS Advisory in October 2000, Ulrich Sommer worked in the area of SME consulting at the international auditing firm Arthur Andersen. In October 2000 Ulrich Sommer, successfully passed the test to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the United States. Since 2010 he has also been a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).
Malaika Tetsch holds a degree in Business Administration and is a Chartered Accountant and joined WTS Advisory in August 2019. Prior to joining WTS, she worked for Big Four companies in audit and consulting as well as in industry for a large trading group. Most recently, Malaika Tetsch was responsible for risk management there. For WTS Advisory, she advises clients of various sizes and industries on governance, risk & compliance topics, especially in the area of risk management, internal control systems, compliance and internal audit. The focus is on the design, implementation, optimization and automation of the governance systems.
Harald v. Heynitz is working since mid-February 2020 as Managing Director at WTS Advisory Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH in the Financial Advisory division. Prior to that, he worked as an auditor, tax advisor and CPA with KPMG for over 30 years. As Global Lead Partner he has audited and advised mainly large international industrial groups. The focus of his advisory work is on US-GAAP and IFRS conversions, carve-outs, transformation projects in finance departments, the introduction and improvement of internal control and compliance systems as well as the optimization of accounting-related processes. In addition, he advises on the implementation of new accounting standards (e.g. IFRS 15 and 16), the solution of complex accounting issues and external reporting issues.
Sven-Roger von Schilling joined WTS Advisory in October 2021. In the service line M&A Strategy / Deal Advisory, he is responsible for advising listed companies and capital market candidates as well as young growth companies. His focus includes the holistic support of M&A and capital raising processes as well as the comprehensive support of companies in their listing aspiration (IPO, SPAC).
Sven looks back on more than 25 years of international professional experience as a C-level manager and consultant. As CFO of tech companies listed on the Prime Standard of Frankfurt Stock Exchange, he was responsible for two IPOs and various M&A projects (divestiture, acquisition, post merger integration). In 2010, he founded and led as CEO the second German SPAC until its successful "de-SPAC-ing" in 2012.
As a consultant, Sven dealt in particular with M&A projects as well as with modern forms of financing (crowdfunding, blockchain). He studied business administration at DHBW Mannheim and received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Hans-Georg Weber, auditor and tax consultant, has worked for WTS in the Financial Advisory area since 2010 and has been partner at WTS since 2012. Before joining WTS, Hans-Georg Weber worked for many years as a senior manager in auditing and consulting, mainly at PwC. In that capacity, he advised medium-sized companies in various industries as well as publicly listed corporations. The focal points of his consulting are accounting consulting according to the Commercial Code (HGB) and IFRS, consolidated financial statements, transaction consulting (financial due diligence, company valuation, plausibilization of business plans) and business management consulting. In addition, he has many years of experience in carve-out, post merger integration and quality assurance. Since WTS and WTS Advisory joined forces in 2017, Hans-Georg Weber has also been managing director of WTS Advisory GmbH.
